Re : Compaq Presario Cq43 - Battery Life

Does the battery life decreases if the AC input is connected & the charger is plugged on constantly while using the Laptop (HP Compaq Presario CQ43) is being used or should I remove the battery while using the charger to save the battery life or from damage. (Pls guide me)

Yes. Definitely it will affect the efficiency and life of your HP Presario CQ43-400 battery if you frequently use it while charging. As much as possible, remove the battery and place it in a safe place before plugging in the power adapter.

The main cause of this is the heat that can generate by your computer while using it. Charging produces heat combined with the processor and other parts of your computer. This will gradually lessen the life and capacity of your battery.
