Installing Different Hp 8600

I had an hp8600 and it broke so I got a new one...I cant seenm to install it...help

The printer should be installed as a new printer with the most recent driver available. Which would require a few steps to completely remove the current driver and prepare your device for the new one.

Therefore, you should begin with a fresh install/set-up. So please completely unplug the printer from BOTH computer/laptop and the Printer itself. (data cable and power cord)

Go to the Printers folder in your Control Panel and remove any driver for this printer model that may already be installed on your computer/laptop. Then Reboot your system. Leave printer off to the side for now.

Choose one of the following options to install the driver:

After your system reboots, use the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows:
HP Installation Wizard

Follow the prompts as they appear on the screen during the installation.

--OR--

Download the Printer's Driver from the HP Website manually. The driver for your printer can be accessed here
Choose the Operating System you currently use. This will pull up a list of downloads available for your system.

Choose the Driver and download it. Once complete, the install wizard should open to guide you through the installation process. Just follow the prompts to completion.

The printer should remain disconnected until instructed to do so during the set-up process.
