How To Get Hp Deskjet F4480 Into Ink-backup Mode.

The ink-backup mode is initiated when a cartridge is removed from the carriage. During ink-backup mode, the printer can only print jobs from the computer. You cannot initiate a print job from the control panel (such as copying or scanning an original).
The printer prints more slowly in this mode, and printouts might be of lesser quality. If you print with only the black cartridge, no color will print. If you print with only the color cartridge, no black ink will print.
