How Can I Fix Problem With My Computer

Hi.... My name is Peter am using HP Pavilion a 6119h for three years but now i had a problem becaues the mouse and keybord are freezing until i shut down manual, how can you help to solve this problem?

Unfortunately this is not one of those items that is easy to diagnose on a one-way communications forum like this. So I'll throw out some suggestions for you to try.

Is the mouse and/or keyboard USB or PS2 style?

Have you tried a different mouse and/or keyboard?

Is anything else locking up?

Is Windows up to date? (All current patches and fixes are installed)

Try opening a command prompt and then running "sfc /scannow". This will scan all the system files and verify them. It may ask for the Windows CD.

Is your antivirus program up to date?

Are the mouse and/or keyboard clean? (no crud in them. The lens on the mouse should be free of dust. If using an older ball mouse make sure the rollers are clean)

Keyboards and mice are fairly cheap. It might be a quick fix to just buy new ones since they do wear out.

That's about all I can suggest without physically looking at the PC. Hope it helps.
