Even If Its Connected Why Does Its Say 'printer Offline'?

Even if its connected why doesit say "Printer offline"?

Greetings - Is the printer's 'driver & software' bundle from off a disc that came together with the printer installed to the computer. Well if it is then try restarting both the computer and the printer, double check the USB cable and also try reinstalling the bundle afresh.
