Defective Harman Kardon Avr2600 Remote Control

My Harman Kardon AVR2600 remote went bad as a result of a battery leaking in it. I had to be out of the country for a while and mistakenly stored the remote with the batteries still in it. When I came back I discovered what had happened. The remote worked for a short while then started to give all sorts of problems then eventually stopped working.I'm having difficulties locating either an original or a replacement remote. Is there anyone doing repairs on these remotes?

It would not be possible to repair it if battery acid leaked onto the board. I'm sure you can order a replacement directly from Harman Kardon. Here's the customer service number: 1 (800) 422-8027.
