The question is do you want to reinstall, install new, or dual boot?
Since you worded your question such that it appears that you wish to do a clean fresh install....
You'll need a Windows XP install CD for whatever version you are licensed for. Put the install CD into the CD drive, reboot the laptop. Hit the spacebar when prompted to "boot from CD". Follow the instructions.
There are many options during the install and each install is unique. You'll need to identify the proper options during the install.
If you want to dual boot it gets a bit more complicated and I really recommend that you have someone familiar with the process help you.
