Gateway Sx2850-01 Memory Upgrade

I would like to increase my desk top Gateway Sx2850-01 memory from 4gb to the max of 8gb. There is presently Unifosa 4Gb Kit (2x2GB) PC3-10600 DDR3-1333MHz non-ECC 240-Pin GU512303EP0202installed in 2 of the 4 slots available. The question is can I replace those 2x2gb modules with 2x4gb modules or do I have to install 2 new 2x2gb modules in the empty slots to max out my memory?

Two 4GB sticks will work fine.
