Can't Scan From Document Feeder.
WF-3520 pulls the papers through, no problem. But all the scans turn out black. I tried scanning from image capture and from the scan button on the machine itself. I re-downloaded the Epson software, but it doesn't include any scanning drivers. i have done the Mac updates.

I have not seen any data on scanning using the document feeder only the scanning table. However it remains to be proven as I have not scanned the whole Epson website. I have attached a link to Epson for your printer so you can check out the troubleshooting and advice pages in an attempt to solve your dilemma.

but one additional step needed: you have to expand the Driver and Downloads with the triangle on the right, and download/install the Scan driver separately. I had thought it was included in the combo driver download.
Once you install it and open it, Apple automatic updates should open and offer you an update. You may have to enable automatic updates, not sure.
