Can't Scan Directly From Control Panel On Wp-4530

Scanning from control panel gives "Communication Error Make sure pc is connected and try again". The wifi is working and I can scan from the Epson scan program via pc. Wifi configured properly. Wifi connection check on control panel comes back as OK.
