Oven Relay Board Problem

oven purchased in 2011. I touched upper oven and bake and was just about to touch start when I saw and smelled an electrical spark and electrical burning smell I immediately hit cancel. When looking on the back of the oven we saw eveidence of electrical burn at J4 on the oven realy board. how do we know if board needs to be replaced or if something else caused the spark and will case another spark on a new board?

Hi. This is somewhat common with no definate explanation so as to say the burnt components should not be replace prior to addressing this or that. A bad element or relay switch is thought to might cause this. The self cleaning feature stands a suspect too.
