Broken Dynex!!! Should I Even Try To Fix It?

I have a dynex 22" tv/DVD combo. I bought it about a year and a half ago on sale..well I went to turn it on and the light went from red to blue as usual but no picture or sound.. Can anyone give me any suggestions or is it not worth trying to fix?

Try this: turn your TV/DVD Combo off and unplug it for an hour. This will serve to reset the hardware. If the problem persists afterward, it's likely that your TV will require repairs. Service can be obtained by carrying your TV in to the place of purchase along with your original receipt. The TV/DVD Combo has a one year warranty from the date of purchase.
