Tv Stuck On Mute

Dynex 32 in LCD TV ex: 15L150A11 manufactured in june of 2010: TV seems to be stick in mute after unplugging the AT&T verse box and then fiddling with menu buttons. No remote but purchased a universal one. Great picture just no sound. At the top right corner when I turn the tv on under the HDI13 is 720p. I don't remember that being there when the tv worked. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Increase the volume

Make sure that the sound is not muted--if you don't have the remote, you should be able to "un-mute" the TV by pressing the Volume buttons on the side of the TV up or down.

Make sure that correct audio mode is selected.

If you still are experiencing issues, then I would recommend bringing it, along with your receipt back to the place of purchase to pursue warranty options.
