My Daughters Laptop Shows Dark Black Screen
I cannot see anything , but windows sound comes and power light is solid?

I would request you to run the Pre-boot system assessment test to check the Hardware functionality.
While holding down the FN key, switch on the computer till you see the tests begin to run:

If you are unable able to see the color bars, then it may be an issue with the LCD screen. I'd request you to connect an external monitor and check for display.
If the color bars are displayed, then I can assure you that there is no issue with LCD.
