Forgot My Password

I just bought a Dell Inspiron n5050. When I turn my computer on it asks for a password. The problem I'm having is that I forgot the password and didn't save it to a flashdrive. How can I get into my computer

You do not specify if it is your BIOS password or your OS login password that you have forgotten. Both is there for a reason. To protect your data!! There is workarounds for both but it is not easy for that same purpose, protecting your data in case of theft. I suggest you take it to your supplier with prove of purchase and they can reset both types.
