Hi,

Since you would like to replace the hard drive of the computer, I would recommend to look for  a hard drive of N5010 which has similar technology (SATA 2) and uses the same hard drive. To check the right hard drive on your computer, please click on the link below:

dell.to/uIo3ef

Please enter the service tag of the computer and click on warranty option. Once you click on warranty you would see “System Configuration”. Click on “Components” and look for hard drive. You can go to any store and give them the details of the hard drive you are looking for and it should work.

For any further help please respond.

Thanks & Regards,
Rathish C
