My name is Amit and I work for work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Try performing the steps suggested below and see if it works.
- To begin with, first of all please check if the connection of the audio cable is in the right connector and the connection is firm.
- Now go to control panel, hardware and sound and under sound click on 'adjust system volume'. Now take slider up to 100% and close the window.
- Under hardware and sound on your control panel now click on 'manage audio devices' and under playback tab click on speakers and then on properties tab.
- Now choose levels tab and put the volume control slider to 100, click apply and ok.
Now check the volume if it’s louder, If this does not work please install the latest driver from the below link.
