Why Is My Monitor Not Working.
My monitor is not working. I check the cord and turn off and on still monitor not working. Just a black screen.

Since you've check the cord(s) I assume you found nothing there. Does the power light light up on the monitor when you turn it on? Is the wall outlet good? If in a power strip, is it turned off? Could it be in analog mode instead of digital? Check the on-screen menu to see how to switch between modes.
Could the issue be the PC? Does it make any noises? Any lights flashing? Any indication of life? I would get with a buddy and swap monitors. See if his works on your PC and if your works on his. That will tell for sure if the montior is good. If it works on another PC it's likel;y the video cable, video card, of the PC itself. At that point you'll need to have a professional tech look the system over.
