The Remote Control For A Dell 4320 Projector Failed.

The remote control for Dell 4320 projector failed. I purchased a replacement remote which did not come with instructions on how to pair it with the projector. I searched the Users Manual and found 37 references to remote, but none were what I need.

I have read the manual and it appears that the remote has to be turned on with the laser button to operate the projector. Page 34 of the pdf downloadable here:

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/356860/Dell-4320.html

explains the procedure. It may be that the projector needs to be reconfigured via a usb/network cable to allow communication. If these do not solve the problem then it is possible a problem with the projector. Trying a factory reset may enable the settings to be reconfigured to a functional use.

Hope that helps.
