New Zen Style M300, Error Msg 1. Please Activate 2. The Card Is Not In The Slot

This is brand new. Ihave tried to download from audible for 3 days without sucess. I have had 2 creative MP3 players before. I have used audible for nearly 2 years. I just get a lot of error messages with this one. 1. Please Activate (old audible books transferred from computer catalog). When following your exsample for downloads from audible (Audible Manager). 2. The card is not in the slot 3. Battery is full (always!!!) 4. Connect your device to USB port (it is connected! ) 5. Turn your device on (is on)

I had exactly the same problem and contacted Audible support. They told me that sometimes Windows 7 allocates the wrong drive letters to the M300 and then Audible starts looking for the external drive instead of the internal one.

Anyway , what I did was go to the computer's Control Panel, and using the instructions here (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-add-or-remove-a-drive-letter) changed the automatically applied letter to A: (which should be free unless you still have a floppy drive).

It worked a treat - can't say more than that.
