Creative ZEN Style M300 Reviews

Disappointment
The sound quality at least after updates(10.feb.2012) is ok, but not good. The bluetooth is a hassle & fails to connect properly after restart of the device for me.
At least if i got it connected & working the battery lasts about 6h & whole process of just listening music works.
Tho last time it froze not even reset & format helps.
Hassle not worh an effort!

Creative Zen Style M300. Why does it fail so badly?
Upon unboxing the M300, I was treated to my new eye candy, my new companion for my lonely travels across the country.Never did I expect such a horror to be released upon me within minutes of unboxing it.
After transferring a few of my favourite songs and reading the manual, I was pretty sure that the custom EQ would've been pretty rad; most of the Creative™ MP3 players sure were worth the money. But for this one.. Hooo holy crap. People looking for good quality audio, please skip this part and just know that this isn't worth your money at all.
I spent SGD88 on this, and I'm rather amused yet upset that the sound quality of this horrible MP3 loses out to my SGD50 MP3 which I owned a couple of years back. Hell, even my phone could pump out much more solid tunes compared to the M300.
The equalization settings were NOWHERE customizable, and even the preset EQs were either ineffective, or just completely horrible altogether. Even the bundled earpieces were horrible.
When I used my Audio Technica PRO5MS, I'd say the sound quality was slightly better, though, way below par for my standards. For those who are seeking a budget MP3 player, there are cheaper ones out there.
For those who appreciate sound quality very, very much, stay away from this ear cancer.
For sure, I will be returning this to the shop that I bought it. I'll be exchanging it for another MP3 Player for sure.
Sorry Creative, your M300 sucks. Really.
