Our Printer Does Not Print Photographs.

A pop-up appears on our iPad screen saying that the printer is out of paper, which is not true. The printer prints normal (mostly) black-and-white documents. Some of the color cartridges are low in ink but not empty and thus still usable. Could that be the problem?

As long as you are not seeing an error message about empty ink tanks then the ink levels are not a likely issue. This Canon website offers a couple of solutions relating to printing photos from an iPad that I believe can help.

Once at the link, please refer to the 4th choice titled "Scanning using Canon Easy-PhotoPrint App for IOS" for a possible resolution
