Just download and install the necessary software. Go to https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mx-series-inkjet/mx492/pixma-mx492#drivers_downloads_tab, making sure your computer's operating system is correctly reflected.
