1. Go to the link I provided.
2. Select which user manual you need for which type of computer.
3. Download the user manual and install it.
4. Now you should be able to find the instructions you need for scanning. :)

Hello debkearney35,

You can go to the Canon Support Website for your printer model located here

Once at the link, choose your operating system from the drop down menu to view a list of available downloads for your system. Then choose Drivers and Software, then choose the My Image Garden Software listed, read the information provided and download.

Once installed, you can open up the program to access the scan option for your printer.

Follow these steps:

Make sure that your scanner or printer is turned on.
Place items on the platen of your scanner or printer.

Placing Items (When Scanning from a Computer)
Start IJ Scan Utility.

Starting IJ Scan Utility
Click Auto.
