Printer Mg2520 Not Printing

pull tab off cartridge,inserted,printed, message need printer head to be aligned, no ink on paper, what did i do wrong?

I don't know that you did anything wrong--head alignment is often necessary. For the fix, see http://ugp01.c-ij.com/ij/webmanual/PrinterDriver/W/MG2500%20series/1.0/EN/PPG/dg-c_alignment_auto.html.
