Cannot Ping Brother Mfc 8480dn

Hi, without knowing more about your network and printer setup, it's impossible to troubleshoot the problem completely. However, if you can't ping the printer, here are some things to check:

- Make sure the printer is connected to a network device (router, switch, etc.) with a known-good Ethernet cable
- Make sure the MFC-8480dn is powered on
- Make sure the printer has a valid IP address and subnet mask (you can check by printing out a network config page)
- Try to ping the router or switch that the printer is connected to, to make sure it isn't having any problems
