I Cannot Receive Faxes On My Brother Intelli Fax Machine 4750e

Make sure its plugged into the right outlet on the side of the machine should be plugged into the outlet marked line on the side of the printer. Does it ring in? On the top right side of the control panel is the recieve settings. Make sure its set to fax or Fax/Tel. If the light is not on either or set to manual the machine will not recieve. Also the display usually says what mode the machine is set to
