Gas Spring
1999 BMW 318i. I have purchased 2 x 54318153513 gas springs to replace the original ones on my car. They are genuine BMW parts but they are 50mm shorter than the originals. This does not allow the tunnel cover to open fully only 45 deg instead of 90deg. Are the replacement parts wrong or are they shorter now?? if so how do you fit them?
