Won't Boot And Screen Is Dark

If the screen stays dark then it's definately a hardware issue. There are many things it could be including the screen, motherboard, RAM, etc... Unless you are experienced with repairing laptops then it's best to bring it to a local repair shop or return it to ASUS if it's under warranty.

What you can try is to remove the battery and the power plug and keep pressing the power button for 10 seconds. After you have done this, leave the battery removed and try connecting the power plug and see if you are able to get the notebook to boot. If you are unable to boot, then you will have to call support or go to our support site to have a RMA created to send in for service.
