Haw Long Cancelled Tickets Have A Value

I purchased ticked in july 2012 but cancelled because of privite matter. Will that ticked have a value untill July 2013 or it expaire since 2012 already gone? Thank you

The ticket should be good for 1 year from date of issue.

The ticket document/invoice should actually say as such. The only time an unused old ticket may have no value is if you fail to cancel the flight before it departs. If the airline shows that you didn't show up for the flight, often the ticket is void and has no remaining value.
