We Just Bougt S231 Lcd Monitor For Our Acer Computer. When My Husband Connecte
We just bougt S231HL lcd monitor for our Acer computer. when my husband connected monitor to computer there is no sound. should we by speakers separately or they installed in monitor. please, advice.thank you.

all pc's have a sound card in which speakers having a built in amplfiers are connected.monitors either crt or lcd itself could not produce sound unless a cable is connected from the pc to the monitor.The cable which is plug from the pc to the monitor,we called it vga cable,is only for videos signals.in your case you have to plug another cable for sound or just can use a pair of speakers with built in amplifiers.
