Try plugging it back in, if it's still not working try to restore factory settings, hopefully you've backed up personal files as you'll lose them.
Acer restore.
For Acer you need to hold down the Alt key and start tapping F10 as soon as you switch on.
The default password if it asks for one is 000000 (six zeros)

If the screen is completely black, as in, not displaying anything at all it could indicate an issue with either the graphics card or display.
If the display does not light up, it is likely that either the cable to the display, or the backlight inverter is broken, either of which would require the part to be replaced.
If the display lights up but does not display anything it could be a fault with the graphics card or a drivers issue.
