I recently bought a Sony cyber shot DSC-w710 and i am so disappointed. I had a earlier one that i loved :( 1. I miss being able to turn the camera on with the play button so that the lense does not deploy. 2.With the plastic casing i am afraid that my camera will not last as long( my other one had several dents and serviced a 2ft fall on the lens onto cement and is still running). 3.The New design omitted the rotary settings, i like it because i could more easily adjust different settings to locational situations(the Program setting to black and white the easy setting in color for outside, then switch back and fort). 4. The color tones where beautiful and gave a consistency to my photos hard to reach editing in post. 5 durring very sunny days it is very nice to have a viewfinder so that you can see your subject without glare if i did not care i would take photos with my phone. they are important to a camera no mature it its a very small one; this camera has none :(

i love the panerama feature (its fun with runners). I love the color capturing feature its fun. It has 16 mega pixels
