Remove the colour BJ Cartridge from its sides as shown in the printer. Always hold a BJ Cartridge by its package. Never touch the print heads. The BJ Cartridge will not print correctly if the print heads are damaged or contaminated by its sides. Pull the orange protective cap away from the BJ Cartridge to remove it to reattach it . An accidental discharge of static electricity may affect the performance of the BJ Cartridge.
