They are called "Factory settings." Note Changing the user settings does not affect factory settings. For more information, see "List of Factory settings" in Chapter 3. Please see Chapter 3. 2-26 The changed user settings can tailor the printer with the RESET MENU mode. You cannot modify the preset factory settings. Printer Settings Factory settings The printer settings have been set at the factory before shipment. Although you can operate the printer with these factory settings unchanged, you can be restored to the factory default settings with user settings.
