How Do I Find My Mac Address On My Emachines W3654

The MAC address (manufacturers hardware ID for the network adapter) is "usually" not on the outside of the system. "sometimes" you can find it on a sticker near the network jack, and sometimes on the motherboard as well.

The best way is (assuming you use Windows....) is to open a command prompt (Start->Run, type CMD, hit Enter) and type this: "ipconfig /all". The result will contain the MAC addresses of all network adapters in the system.

The topmost result is typically the active network adapter but look for one that has an entry for the IPv4 Address. The MAC address will be listed as the "Physical Address" and looks like this: 9D-66-D0-A3-BD (this is in hexadecimal, numbers between 0 and 9, letters between A and F)
