Burning Dvds

i am trying to burn pics onto dvd+rw 4.7gb it says its creating it then gets to 80% and says it can't complete it why do I need a specific blank DVD I have a e machine which says dvd-super multi dl drive on it it is model number eME529

Limited support is available at the manufacturers website. Only updates and drivers. Normally the problem when burning DVDs is how much ram you have and the speed. If you are low on ram and try to burn at 32 speed for example the writer cannot burn at that speed effectively. Slow down the speed to allow the buffer to take over. Do not burn at the full speed of the drive but check the disk speed 6x & 8x is usually safe for large amounts of data.
