Why Does My E Machines El300g-02w Have A Battery In It

Like other desktop computers, your eMachines EL1300 computer has a battery which is called the CMOS battery. This battery basically maintains the updated time and date of your computer. The time and date is very important for applications installed in your computer. CMOS batteries are made of Lithium and have 3 volts. You can read more about CMOS batteries here:
