How To Open The Back Of Emachines E732 For Memory Upgrade And Fan Cleaning?

The e732 is very simple to take the back off as fortunately all the screws (24) are exactly the same size except for the 4 smaller ones inside the battery compartment. So simply lay machine on its lid and remove all the screws you see including the 4 inside the battery compartment. Pull out the DVD drive once you have done this. Then gently pry the edges of the case apart. The end where headphones etc can be plugged in is where it will catch if it does. Simply gently prise it open and it will lift off unscathed. The Memory and Fan are in plain sight for cleaning and upgrading. In most cases you will see one stick of RAM in situ and one spare slot closest to you. Good luck.
