Keyboard Accepts Only A Few Letters. Now Using On-screen Keyboard.

Happened suddenly, no outer damage.

Laptop keyboards fail. They are very specialized items with very small parts and we all take them for granted. If coffee or some other liquid fell in that can kill it quick. Sometime just dust and use kill them.

You can try and replace it yourself to save some bucks. There is no service manual that I can find but the links at this web site might give you some guidance on disassembly. http://repair4laptop.org/disassembly_emachines.html
