Can't Attach Files To My Email

Have previously been able to attach files for years. Now, files will not attach. They show up as a "skeleton" and show an attempt to load but will not load. I can not send the email unless I delete the attachement. OR when it quits attempting to load, it tells me I have an invalid file. Isent the same files to people a week ago on the Yahoo system. I am on a Macbook and have had Yahoo issues with email inthe past

Yahoo will no longer allow you to send some files i.e. .exe, .com, .vbs, .lnk, .pif, .scr, .bat.

If you need to send these types of files you will either need to zip it first or use something like drop box.
