Yahoo Email Already Compromised And Abandoned Alternative Email.

I need to get some important information from my yahoo email that seems to be compromised because I never set up the secret question. The answer for secret question is about an aunt and ufortunately I don't have an aunt. 2ndly the alternaive email address is already abandoned for last one year and I can't retrieve any message. Please help me

Hello mnbaig52,

Sorry you have to go through the hassle of a compromised account. Hopefully, we can point you in the right direction so you may re-gain access to your Account.

Unfortunately the common mehods for accessing an Account once comprromised are not options you are able to use due to :

The alternate email address provided is no longer valid for use. And you did not provide an answer to a "Security Question" when you set up your Yahoo Account.

However, there are a couple of other ways to prove you are the Account Holder. But, you will need to contact Yahoo's Customer Support for assistance with this issue.

A Customer Care Rep may request you to verify the alternate email address you provided when you had set up your account (if currently not in use is irrelevant since it just to verify you know this). Other questions will also be asked, as related to the information currently on the Account. If there is a discrepancy with your answer and what is on the account, please remind the rep that your account was hacked and likely some information changed.
