Whirlpool Front Load Washer Stalls After Filling Up With Water

I have a whirlpool WFW9050XW , but without an LED display. On diagnosis, It blinks 8 times then one. In any wash cycle, it fills about halfway up with water, all the while turning, and then it stops and beeps. I press power and it drains and stops, then I do a rinse and spin, and that does that. However, I still don't like that it stops. I checked the hoses were right, drain height and air, the washer is level, the LED indicates the door is locked at the beginning of the cycle. I pressed my leg against the door just before it stopped to make sure it wasn't a door problem. I think it has something to do with it not being able to tell when to stop filling and start washing.
