Extreme Heat Coming Up On The Right Side Of The Stove Top From The Oven Vent

Oven vent is poorly placed - extreme heat coming from the oven vent and it's right next to the digital display. Too hot to touch at times and seems to me to be a combustion hazard or melting the digital display. Is there an insulation installation issue that can contain the heat? It seems something's not right and is a safety issue if the vent heat is that direct.
