Odd Smell, And Yellow In The Flames...

We have a Whirlpool range that gives off an odd odor when the oven is in use, and there is yellow color in some of the oven flames, some at the burner, some at the tip. The stovetop burners also have yellow from about half-way up the flame to the tip. Any ideas what is wrong here??
