Charcoal Filters On Vented Hood
In my new home, the vent hood has a vent outside. The builders left the charcoal filters in the hood. I read from the manual the filters are required only on non-vented system. I notice the filters today and they are pretty greasy (we do a lot of frying). My question is, will it be good to kepp and replace the filters as it apperas to be doing some job of retaining oil or am I really harming the vent system by having the filters on a vented install ?
