What Do You Do When One Cable Is 18 In Too Short?

i bought a pro 4900 from a friend off craigs list. any ways when I got it put together the right weight stack cable is short! 18 inches short. I've rechecked all pulleys and everything seems too be the right way, I even bought a new cable and it measures out to specs 7'7" I have no clue
