Vizio Xvt423sv Won't Turn On (cycle Of Blinking)
I have a Vizio XVT423SV. The other night we had a thunderstorm with strong lightning. The next morning, the TV would not turn on. I called Vizio and they walked me through a full power reset, unplugging, holding the power button 15 seconds, etc. The TV will turn on, in that it will light up (the screen will be blank but backlit) for a couple minutes, then the Vizio light will blink for a few minutes, then go back to lit up but stay on the blank screen, then go back to blinking, and just repeat this cycle. The Vizio support person on the phone said it was a "power" problem. From some online research it looked like the problem might be that I need to replace the Power Supply Board. I ordered a new power board from ShopJimmy and replaced it, but nothing has changed. Is there another board or part I should replace? I can't afford to buy a new TV. Please help.
