Vizio Xvt423sv Won't Fully Turn On (cycle Of Blinking)
I have a Vizio XVT423SV. The other night we had a thunderstorm with strong lightning. The next morning, the TV would not turn on. I called Vizio and they walked me through a full power reset, unplugging, holding the power button 15 seconds, etc. The TV will turn on, in that it will get to the V screen (the vizio logo screen that normally displays as the TV boots up) for a couple minutes, then the Vizio light will blink for a few minutes, then go back to lit up but stay on the V screen, then go back to blinking, and just repeat this cycle. The Vizio support person said it was a "power" problem. I don't know if she said "power supply" or not. From some online research it looks like the problem may be that I need to replace the Power Supply Board. But I don't know if this is the right fix since my TV does "turn on" technically in the sense that it lights up, but it doesn't go all the way. The videos and info I found online seems to be mostly people whose Vizios won't turn on at all. Is it my power supply board, or is it perhaps a different part that needs to be replaced?
