International Phone Use

HI, I would like to know how to use my cell phone on a cruise ship in the Meditarranean, docking in Greece. How much will it cost per minute? Do I have to come in to a phone center with my phone? Is it better to buy or rent an international phone for this one-time trip? Is this adaptation process revertable when I'm back in the US? Thank you. Cecile
